After inheriting his estranged father’s house in rural northern Iran, a young man encounters an extensive private archive left behind by a father he never knew; Shahrokh, a filmmaker, abandoned his son Bardia in early childhood. What remains of Shahrokh are materials rather than memories: untouched rooms, personal belongings, handwritten notes, photographs, sound recordings, correspondence, and audiovisual recordings. Moving through the remnants in the house, the film will trace how personal beliefs and abandonment are inherited, resisted, and lived with, often without consent. The house becomes a family home, an archive, and a psychological landscape shaped by absence.
