This workshop-based research project in Namibia engages with prophetic texts and oral histories from the 1940s and 50s. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, participants develop a performance project by activating archival materials through reading, sound, and site-based experimentation.
Founded in 2014, Owela (previously known as Kaleni Kollectiv) is a Namibia-based platform for interdisciplinary artistic experimentation, focusing on performance, public art, and socially engaged practices.
