This documentary follows Nayer Ghidorah, a young trans artist based in Havana, whose life defies conventional boundaries of gender, family and home. The film offers a space to reflect on trans experiences in marginalised and deeply conservative contexts. Just as Nayer transcends binary identity, the film blends fiction and non-fiction, resisting categorisation. Through art, Nayer heals, rebuilds and redefines her identity. Her drawings and illustrations will be brought to life through animation, depicting fragmented memories, while her live performances—bloody, alien, dystopian and even futuristic—will be filmed with a handheld camera, embracing imperfection in movement and colour. These performances will serve as a bridge between scenes and will reflect the emotional depth of both the person and the artist.
