Selected as one of five professionals for the Sound Studio of Talents Guadalajara 2024, this project focuses on mastering and sharing the knowledge of mixing with Dolby Atmos, an immersive sound technology increasingly shaping the film, art and gaming industries, particularly in Latin America. This opportunity not only allows for technical specialisation in a field where Black LGBTQIA+ women remain underrepresented, but also fosters collaboration and mentorship, ensuring that this technology will become accessible to creators from diverse backgrounds. Learning Dolby Atmos will open the door to future projects centred on Afro-diasporic narratives, including a first feature film exploring spiritual rebirth in Candomblé and Santería that will be told through a rich, atmospheric soundscape.
