This transdisciplinary, 15-day workshop on movement and expression will take place in Guinea-Bissau. Common gestures and body language will be transformed into conscious actions, enabling Bissauan people to become active protagonists in the political sphere. In the current repressive climate, I will use my artistic practice as a tool of knowledge to empower those who are currently afraid to express their views. The workshop will result in two collective performance interventions (two flash mobs). The aim of the workshop is to both create a critical understanding of the current political and social situation in Guinea-Bissau and to develop a critical and political body language for its participants.
