After six years of primarily virtual engagement, SPP’s new learning module Time for Friendship will introduce a series of in-person workshops for its 2025 cycle. This initiative reimagines feminist knowledge production by prioritising non-institutional, egalitarian relationships based on understanding and mutual respect. These gatherings mark a significant shift toward physical presence and connection. Workshops will take place across three regions, representing the diverse feminist subjectivities of Western Indonesia, the marginalised Eastern islands and diaspora communities in Europe and the UK. Each session will feature five to seven presenters who will share narratives through text, music, performance, audiovisuals and other mediums, grounding their work in lived experience. The reflections and insights from these encounters will deepen SPP’s commitment to decolonial feminist education, artistic exchange and radical solidarity across borders.
