I plan to research the knowledge of forests and their relationship with communities of people and other beings. I will explore how artistic practices can support the urgent need to restore nature and/or cultures. Embodied artistic practices can bring different worlds in dialogue with one another to help unlearn old ways and visualize alternative forms of relating to the spaces we inhabit, and to go beyond outdated narratives of modernity. I will visit the forest contexts of artists and friends, Leonel Lienlaf (Wallmapu), Tejeutza Zobel Raoul (Cameroon) and Emerson Munduruku (Amazonia). It is too late to do nothing and to abide by narratives of ecological collapse.
